Age in Motion
Strength training, balance & stretching for active older adults and beginner exercisers. Participants are encouraged to work at their own level and modifications are provided as needed. Also appropriate for the new exerciser or those returning from injury. All ages welcome.
Cardio / Strength
A mix of total body strength and conditioning with an emphases on cardiovascular exercise.
Aquacise
This low to medium intensity class uses all areas of the pool so participants must be comfortable in deep and shallow water. Aquacise uses a variety of formats to work all muscles with minimal joint impact.
Anything Goes
You’ll never know what our instructors will come up with next. This class is any combination of cardio & strength training. Guaranteed to shake up your routine.
YMCA Running Club
If you like to run or want to start a running program come workout with our running staff. The workouts will be a combination of running and conditioning with chi running to prevent injury.
Boot Camp
A good ol’ fashion cardio boot camp style class that will sculpt your muscles, flatten your stomach and burn calories while having fun. This class is for all fitness levels.
Butts & Guts
Burn fat and tone muscle while targeting the core and glutes muscles.
Deep Water Challenge
This medium to high intensity deep water class is geared toward active adults seeking a diverse and intense water-aerobic workout. Participants must be comfortable in deep water. To ensure sufficient space and equipment class size is limited to 15 participants.
Fluid Motion
Our zero entry heated therapy pool is perfect for soothing your achy joints. This class follows the Arthritis Foundation’s Guidelines to help you move with ease.
H2O Fitness
This shallow and deep-water class uses medium to high intensity for strengthening, toning, conditioning, and muscular endurance.
Step and Sculpt
This class mixes higher intensity cardio with lower intensity weight training using a STEP and light hand held weights. A great workout for maximizing fat burning.
Indoor Cycling
A non-impact, high energy cardio ride on stationary bikes, simulating a road bike workout to music. Each instructor brings their own signature riding style to each class with offerings for both beginners and experienced riders. Bikes are equipped for use with or without clips. Classes are limited to 13 participants. Call the Y Welcome Center to reserve a bike up to 24 hours in advance.
Interval Challenge
This is a great class to get you going at noon to pump up your afternoon. Intervals of strength and muscle toning, along with cardio exercises gives you a total body workout. This class is recommended for intermediate or higher fitness levels.
Ladies Circuit
A ladies only workout environment. Enjoy circuit training on the YMCA’s specialized, size appropriate equipment and complete your work out experience with cardio drills, all in one class. Small class sizes; created for beginners.
Cardio Kick –Mix
This total body workout uses martial arts and kick boxing workouts to maximize your workout.
Zumba ® Gold
This Zumba class is specially designed for seniors.
Zumba ®
Come join us as we dance, shake and sweat our way to health with Latin-inspired rhythms. Zumba® combines high energy with motivating music so you won’t even feel like you’re exercising. Let yourself loose in this class designed for all fitness levels.
Family Zumba ®
Ditch the workout and join the fun with your kids and loved ones! Whether you are brand new to Zumba or an experienced dancer, come alone or grab the family. Let your inner “Dance Star” have its moment.
Cross Training
This is a high intensity class using “cross Fit workouts” to reach your peak conditioning. You can expect to run, lift and a lot more.

Build, strength, endurance, and flexibility with our new suspension training classes.
Pilates, Ball Pilates & Powerful Pilates
Develop long lean muscles and body awareness. You will exercise your smaller, core muscles that support the bodies large muscle groups. You will feel revived, strong and stretched out. Varying degrees of difficulty make this a perfect class for all fitness levels.
Body Sculpt
Build muscle strength and endurance in this full body workout challenging all muscle groups using benches, balls, hand held weights, exert-tubes and bands.
Silver Sneakers® – Muscle Strength & Range of Movement
Seniors can have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement to improve daily activity.
Dynamic Defense
Welcome to an electrifying challenge that combines both the discipline and martial art of Tae Kwon Do with an aerobic exercise of spirit, mind and body.
Water Walking
Move forwards, backwards and sideways during this low intensity workout. Don’t let the weather ruin your walking routine, come inside and walk with us.
Yoga
The Y offers a variety of yoga options. Each instructor brings their own style to their class. This class will strengthen, relieve stress and revive your body without the difficulty or strain on your back and knees.
Teen Yoga
Yoga is for everyone With this class you can just relax and workout with your friends.
Yoga -Pilates
A blend of yoga, tai chi, and Pilates to enhance strength, flexibility, and endurance. Designed for all fitness levels.
Alignment & Embody Yoga
Intermediate Classical Yoga offered with lyengar precision. Easily move beyond obstacles. Explore your optimum potential deeply & safely, with breath, heart and deep attention. Modifiable for a range of intermediate students, but adventurous.
Yoga Slow Flow
Meditative class to help remove tension from your body. Paired with the breath this slowed down approach to vinyasa class will leave you feeling renewed and peaceful. All levels welcome.
Total Body Mix
Combines basic cardio with lighter weights and resistance equipment. You make it what you want.
Ballet Fusion
No prior ballet dance experience needed! Build your strength, endurance, balance to become long and lean. Easy to follow and unique. All levels welcome.
Muscle Max
Working the muscles with high repetitions, low resistance.
Hard Rock Core
More for the intermediate and advanced. 45 minute core workout.
Strength Training for Beginners
Beginner level class that emphasizes the fundamentals of strength training, core and posture.
H. I. I. T.
High intensity interval training. This is a class meant to increase the heart rate using advanced cardio, and strength movements.
Chair Yoga
A gentle class for those with injuries, disabilities or limited movement. Yoga poses and breathing techniques are done with support of a chair and other props.
Core/Cycling
Start with working your core and move into cardio with cycling. A non-impact high energy class. Great for all levels.
Low& Lite
A low impact cardio class with lots of light resistance strength work and balance challenges included. A great place to start if you’ve never tried a group x class or if you love exercise classes but need to “tone it down” a bit due to chronic injuries or aging joints.
Fit & Centered
This water fitness class includes 40 minutes of moderate intensity water aerobics followed by 20 minutes of a meditative sequence of movements designed to relax and rejuvenate. The majority of this class will take place in shallow water, but there will be some deep water activity tailored to participants’ abilities.
About our Group Exercise Program:
- A new schedule of group exercise classes is available each month at the Y Welcome Center and here on this site.
- All group exercise classes are free for members with the exception of those noted and are first come, first served. No registration required. TRX® and Cycling require a reservation and are exclusive to members.
- Non-members must pay the standard guest fee to enter the building each time they wish to take a class.
- Class cancellations will be posted on the news feed of this site and on Facebook®.
