Our Climbing Wall

In the Y’s new Summit Road facility the climbing wall is a wonder to behold. Climbing 32 feet into the air from the ground floor, up through the Wellness Center, the wall offers 980 sq. feet of climbing surface. Constructed to look and feel like natural granite, the wall provides a unique experience for climbers of all abilities.

Family Climbers (All Ages)

Parents will learn belaying and safety information while kids learn how to climb. Both participants will learn basic climbing commands, knot tying and climbing strategy. Cost includes one parent and up to two children. Price includes cost of belay certification, which allows parents to belay their child during any open or family climb time.

Youth Climbing

All the Y’s climbing programs teach the basic skills for successful climbing. Taught by qualified instructors, youth will have the opportunity to learn this unique and exciting skill that builds strength and self esteem in a safe and supervised environment. Classes are taught by age level and are open to all experience levels.
