The Keene Family YMCA has designed a wonderful day camp experience for our youngest campers. Camp can be an exciting adventure for any child, but a long day away from home can also be a bit overwhelming for little campers. With this in mind, the Y created Jumping Jacks. Jumping Jacks offers full and half-day options, smaller ratios and the “down-time” that little campers need to be successful. This camp runs in conjunction with Camp Wakonda, but offers age appropriate activities and designated staff exclusive to Jumping Jacks campers.
All campers will begin their day at the Elk’s Camp where they will engage in outdoor activities, games and projects. At 12pm families choosing the half day option will pick up at the Elk’s Camp. Campers enrolled in the full day program will be transported by bus to the Keene Family YMCA facility. They will have an hour of “down-time” followed by low key activities in the Y’s Multi Purpose Room. Monday—Thursday full day participants will have swimming in the Y Pool and Fridays will be field trips to Surry Beach.

DROP OFF/PICK UP: Full Day Option Drop off will be at the Elk’s Camp. Pick up will be at the Keene Family YMCA Children’s Learning Center. 1/2 Day Option Drop off and pick up will be at the Elk’s Camp. Before Care will be held at the Elk’s Camp. After Care will be held at the Keene Family YMCA Children’s Learning Center.
